Is Greenware compostable?

Yes, Greenware PLA cold cups are certified compostable by BPI for commercial composting. Like all PLA products, PLA cups are not suitable for backyard composting as PLA requires the higher heat of a large composting pile to breakdown.

Is Greenware plastic compostable?

Yes Greenware cups are made with certified compostable Ingeo PLA, a corn-based bioplastic commonly found in compostable packaging products.
